BE, °1976 – Lives and works in Antwerp, Belgium.
My photography is a quiet conversation with the world around me — an intuitive response to fleeting moments that speak louder than words. I never studied photography formally; instead, I learned by doing, by watching, by feeling. My grandfather gave me my first camera — an old, battered one no longer in use — and with it, a lifelong sense of wonder.
I do not plan my images. I respond. I wait. I watch. My process is intuitive, almost instinctive. I’m drawn to stillness, to subtle human gestures, to the layers of time etched into the urban landscape. I’m not looking for spectacle — I’m searching for presence.
