Constellation I – Lyra brings together the work of contemporary artists from Belgium and the Netherlands in a remarkable historic building in the heart of Antwerp. The exhibition takes shape as a constellation: different artistic practices, images and ideas come together without being confined to a single theme. The architecture and history of the site form an important point of departure. Just as stars exist individually yet gain meaning through their relationship to one another, new connections emerge between the works. Lyra invites visitors to look, make connections and continually discover new meanings.
